This grid insert with very fine stainless steel grid (0.2 mm) can be inserted into the holes and provides good formicarium ventilation without the ants can break out.
In case of lateral attachment, we recommend additional securing with commercially available adhesives to avoid falling out due to possible shocks.
Note: Also suitable for very strong biting species such as leafcutter ants!
